Raptors 905 Summer Reading Challenge

First Book Canada is inviting Grade 5 students to a virtual Summer Reading Challenge, run with Raptors 905, Penguin Random House Canada, and Tangerine Bank

Students currently in grades 4, 5, or 6 in elementary schools across Canada can take on the challenge to read 5 books over 5 weeks for a total of 905 minutes of reading this summer!

Each week you can follow along at our virtual meetings to discuss the books with the authors themselves and other special guests!

All 5 books focus on BIPOC representation to encourage students to read books that reflect and are inclusive of all voices, stories, and experiences.

Reading begins June 30th and will run until July 28th, 2023. Are you ready for the challenge?

Participants will be required to obtain their own copies of the 5 titles to follow along with the Summer Reading Challenge.
